Baseball Basics

Baseball Basics is the best way to introduce America's Pastime to America's Future! Baseball is fun and our basic approach is perfect for beginners or ball players you want to get better! Batter's Up and it's you! 

Basketball Basics

New to the game or fine tuning skills, we cover it all! This high energy approach to teaching the basic components of the game of basketball is great for all ages. Can't wait to see you on the court!

Flag Football

Flag Football Skills Sessions @ Junction Place Sportsplex is exactly as it sounds! Six 1-Hour Sessions. Class goal is developing and refining the skills required to play flag football! Passing, catching, defense, rules and strategy- we will cover it all! Join former collegiate quarterback and Junction Place Sportsplex Owner/Founder Josh Tolbert and let your child develop into the best player they can be! 

Simply Soccer

Simply Soccer is the perfect way to introduce or reinforce the value of physical activity within a group dynamic in a safe yet challenging environment. Participants will learn the concept of team sports, what a "game" is, playing field dynamics (in bounds, out of bounds), basic skills and more advanced skills as each child develops. This once a week class will see "practices" evolve into "games" as we progress with game understanding and basic skill mastery.

HOW IT WORKS

After-School Sports Programs with Junction Place Sports offers multiple options for schools and administrators to choose from when setting up their schedule of classes. All options follow the same basic format for implementation for each day of class:

  • JPS Staff arrive on site 30-minutes prior to school dismissal to bring in equipment and set-up
  • School Dismissal process goes as normal
  • JPS Staff assume care (can sign out or perform whatever procedural steps necessary) all participants
  • JPS Staff lead participants through scheduled activities (typically 45-minutes to an hour)
  • JPS Staff then have a dismissal period of 15 minutes (having already collected listed of approved pick-up for each child prior to the first day of class)
  • JPS Staff then "sign-in" any participant who is scheduled to join school operated after-care or extended day program

Classes can be offered in Parent Pay-For model in which parents/guardians are able to register for classes using our online booking tool (price ranges from $10-15/class day based on volume). This option works well for schools who would like to offer after-school sports programming but don't have a budget specifically set aside to pay for these services.

Classes can also be offered in a School Payment model in which the school will cover the cost for participants (discounted rate as low as $6-$10/participants/class depending on volume). This option is a great way for schools to offer enrichment classes for their community without passing payment on to parents and while still being able to outsource all aspects of the organizing and implementing the services.
